Why choose Tjikko, or rather - why wouldn't you?
I may be biased on this issue – but the choice is obvious. Honestly, I see no reason not to choose Tjikko.
Today I assume that you belong to the group that brushes your teeth regularly with toothpaste like most people in our part of the world do, but did you know that it is neither a given nor has it always been a necessity? That is an intriguing question that I will save for another blog.
As I said, you belong to the group that brushes your teeth with toothpaste. What do you expect from a toothpaste? Surely it should, together with the brush, create clean conditions in the mouth? Keep Karius and Bactus at bay? Reduce the risk of gingivitis (gum inflammation)? Give fresh breath? It goes without saying that you expect this – and Tjikko delivers on all counts, as far as a toothpaste actually can.
Why is Tjikko such a good choice of toothpaste?
Three words: Carefully selected ingredients. The base for Tjikko is bicarbonate - every housewife's obvious cleaner. Bicarbonate raises the pH of saliva and thus reduces the risk of caries. In addition, caries is actively counteracted by increased saliva secretion from sugar alcohols. Tjikko also contains fluoride and hydroxyapatite, which are stored in and strengthen the enamel while counteracting irritation. Finally, Stevia was chosen for its anti-inflammatory properties and mint for taste and freshness. Nothing in Tjikko Toothpaste Tablets can harm the teeth or mouth in any way. Worth noting: People with dry mouth or possible allergy problems may react negatively to the mint flavor, which can be perceived as strong in taste and/or affect sensitive oral mucosa. A solution to this will be launched next year, so keep your ears and eyes open.
-Remember: Toothpaste is a good tool – but without the right brushing technique, even the best toothpaste won't help. If you don't take care of your diet in a way that benefits both dental and physical health, even good toothpaste and brushing technique won't help.
Simple care - Healthy teeth
The second aspect of Tjikko Toothpaste Tablets 1.0 is the fact that it is a tablet. Why mix a bunch of active ingredients with water, thickeners, fillers, preservatives and dyes – just to get a consistency that can be squeezed out of a plastic tube that was never needed in the first place? Tjikko toothpaste tablets contain 100% active ingredients that are minimal in size and weight, always correctly dosed and do not require any water to brush. You should brush with a dry toothbrush. Water is only needed to rinse the toothbrush clean.
Here's how you do it: Chew a tablet – Brush immediately with a DRY toothbrush (it foams as soon as you start brushing) – Spit out! You should not rinse afterwards according to recommendations from Swedish dentistry, so that the fluoride and hydroxyapatite are allowed to work for a longer time and are not rinsed away.
With Tjikko you get optimal dental care with minimal environmental impact – without unnecessary additives and plastic packaging. Plus, you avoid toothpaste slugs in the sink, stains on your clothes and sticky beard (if you have one!).
