Tjikko was born out of frustration over what I think is a very questionable quality of the toothpastes on the market. Being able to present the toothpaste as a dry tablet without any unnecessary fillers was a total Jackpot feeling.
My name is Margareta Lee and I have over 40 years of experience as a dentist in several countries and cultures. I have seen completely healthy nations become caries-stricken after the introduction of a Western diet and I have seen caries-stricken people become healthy with dietary advice and good oral care. All of these experiences have been built into a conscious holistic approach to health – oral health – environment.
From this was born Tjikko 1.0 – The only toothpaste needed!
